Salavat Yulaev beat Amur in away match
The Salavat Yulaev hockey club went to Khabarovsk to play with Amur, which takes the 10th line of the KHL East Conference and is unlikely to reach the playoff zone since the gap from the eighth line is 17 points. Salavat Yulaev is firmly settled in the first four of the conference.
The home team almost completely failed the first period. Two penalties of Golubev played a low-down trick with Amur. Salavat Yulaev capitalized on the first power play with the help of Geoff Platt accurate shot. At the end of the twenty minutes, the Khabarovsk team nevertheless sent the puck behind Juha Metsola, but the referee team doubted the goal's correctness. The rivals left for the break when the score was 0: 1, as Sergei Svetlov's players scored after the siren.
Amur managed to equalize only in the 28th minute of the match. Alexander Sharov hit the net. Ufa players bided their time for the second scoring chance. Hartikainen received a diagonal pass from Larsen and changed the numbers on the scoreboard — 1: 2. This is the 55th point of the Finnish striker in the regular league season.
The Khabarovsk team fought to the last minute, but Salavat Yulaev saved its net.
