Decline in coronavirus incidence is predicted in Russia

The incidence and mortality rates from coronavirus may halve by mid-spring 2021. The expert on statistics and modeling of the Center for Economic Research Aghasi Tavadyan reported this to RIA Novosti.
“However, further a surge in incidence is possible again due to the natural spring peak,” the expert added.
He believes that the situation may soon improve dramatically. Simultaneously, even taking into account its massive start, vaccination is slower than the spread of the virus. Universal vaccination is mandatory for the complete leveling of Covid and preventing a new possible wave, Aghasi Tavadyan said.
As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, in Bashkiria, as of January 25, 23,242 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered since March. The increase was 168 cases per day. The increase in the number of diagnosed pneumonia is 150 percent compared to last year. According to experts, the republic has reached a plateau in terms of morbidity.
