Bashkiria authorities are planning to build stadium, philharmonic society and parks by Ufa 450th anniversary
A philharmonic society, a universal stadium for international events, reconstruction of the State Circus, puppet theater, and Russian Drama Theater are among tasks set by Bashkiria authorities for the 450th anniversary of Ufa. Prime Minister Andrei Nazarov discussed these issues with First Deputy and Deputy Minister of Finance of Russia Leonid Gorin and Alexei Lavov.
According to the head of the regional cabinet of ministers, in 2020, the republican budget spent about 12 billion rubles on combating coronavirus infection consequences. Treasury revenues of Bashkiria decreased by 15%.
“This is due to both COVID and a decline in oil production and refining. It is also clear that the consequences of the pandemic have not yet been overcome. We will face them next year as well. In order to pass this period with minimal losses, now we need to solicit the support of the federal center,” Andrei Nazarov outlined the tasks.
The Prime Minister of Bashkiria also discussed the growth of regional budget expenditures with his Moscow colleagues due to legislation changes. Andrei Nazarov asked to abolish in 2021 the penalties for the subjects of the country for non-timely and incomplete transfer of insurance payments for compulsory health insurance of the non-working population.
