Two deaths, 18 thousand infected and almost 900 hospitalized: new data of COVID-19

The republican emergency operations center for combatting new coronavirus infection has updated statistics on its incidence. As of December 25, 18,066 thousand infected with COVID-19 were registered in Bashkiria, of which 162 cases were confirmed on the last day.

Today, 877 people are in hospitals, 57 of them in serious condition, 11 are connected to lung ventilators. There are 2,896 residents of the region who are undergoing the coronavirus treatment at home. Over the past day, 102 people recovered from COVID, in total — 14 162 since the beginning of the pandemic. Also, two new deaths from the infection were recorded. In total, 131 people died from the coronavirus in the republic.

The number of community-acquired pneumonia was 405 cases per day, 376 patients were discharged from hospitals.
