Ufa Eurasian Research and Educational Center will have federal status
The Eurasian Research and Educational Center (REC) in Ufa will receive federal status. Today it became known that the republican project won the government competition for federal status and, accordingly, funding. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced this at a government meeting, the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, posted on social media.
He noted that the government competition's victory results from much work that the project office headed by the Chief of Staff of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Alexander Sidyakin had been doing for a year a half.
"It is planned to develop new inventions and make scientific discoveries at REC. Scientists from all over the world will join us; we will become an ecosystem, a prestigious talent foundry of scientific and engineering personnel. REC is not only a modern campus, for which we have allocated a territory in the Ufa Zabelye neighborhood; it is also a special philosophy and atmosphere of the science city, boosting creativity. It is also the center of attraction for innovative businesses interested in applied development; it is a startup factory. Today the point of no return has been passed, and after very little time, all this will start to be implemented! " the Head of the Republic shared his joy.
