Forecasters reported on weather pattern in Bashkiria in December

According to the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia's forecast, the first winter month in the republic is expected to be 1 degree colder than usual, Bashkir Met Office reports. The average monthly air temperature is forecasted to be within -11, -12 C (norm -11 C). The amount of precipitation is assumed to be less than usual, with the predominance of anticyclonic fronts.

In the first week of December, the weather in the region will be determined by the periphery of the Siberian anticyclone. The temperatures will range largely over the territory, especially at night: -13, -20 C, with cloudiness in places -7, -12 C. It will be mostly frosty in the eastern regions to -22, -27 C, in the afternoon -7, -13 C, in the mountainous regions -14, -17 C. In general, the average daily air temperatures are expected to be 3-5 degrees below normal from December 1 to 10.

It will be mostly dry at the beginning of the month. Fogs will be observed in some places at night and in the morning.
