The Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital was fined for 1,414 unreported cases of the coronavirus and violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules. The Kirovsky District Court made the decision. The fine amounted to 200 thousand rubles.
As reported in the court, Rospotrebnadzor in the republic during the inspection from September 1 to October 2 of this year revealed violations — the hospital did not provide information to the department about the positive results of COVID-19 tests.
"Failure to take timely, comprehensive anti-epidemic measures in respect of 1,414 unrecorded cases of the coronavirus infection has led to the spread of infection among an unlimited number of people," the press service of the Kirovsky District Court said.
At the hearing, the defenders of the legal entity, in respect of which the proceedings are being conducted in the case of an administrative offense, did not plead guilty, the court noted.
