More than 50 territories suitable for technoparks creation have been identified in Bashkiria
In Bashkiria, 51 territories have been identified as suitable for creating technoparks, industrial parks, and business incubators, 19 of which are ready for registration. The sites are located in Kumertau, Neftekamsk, Salavat, Sibay, Sterlitamak, as well as in Belebeyevsky, Blagoveshchensky, Kushnarenkovsky, Tuimazinsky, Ufimsky, and Uchalinsky districts, the press service of the regional Ministry of Economic Development reports.
"These are formed territories, registered with cadastral records as "industrial lands". The main engineering networks are adjacent to these sites, roads have been laid," Rustam Muratov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB — Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy RB said.
For registration of technoparks, sites are being considered in the city of Salavat at the former Salavat Optical and Mechanical Plant and in Ufa at PromZhD-Garant, at the "Astra" business park site, and Polimak LLC. The sites are planned to be registered by the end of 2020. Thousands of jobs are expected to be created.
The ongoing projects of industrial parks, such as "Promtsentr", "Ufimsky", construction of "Nizhegorodsky" and "Center of Agrotechnologies" will create an additional 2,782 jobs.
The project also includes "Blagoveshchensky" and "Neftekamsky" industrial parks, agro-industrial parks in Uchaly. By 2024, this will suppose an appearance of about 4 thousand jobs in the republic.
"In Bashkortostan, there is a structure for developing infrastructure sites, which involves creating industrial parks in each district of the republic. It is clear that we construct and make investments, but this is a long-term perspective that does not give quick results," said Alexander Sidyakin, Chief of Staff of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Bashkortostan, together with the Ministry of Industry RB, was instructed to collect data on industrial sites located in the Ufimsky region territory. Assistance will also be provided in paperwork to obtain the appropriate status. Alexander Sidyakin ordered to include measures to support technology parks and industrial sites in the third package of measures amid the coronavirus pandemic, which is now being developed by the Government RB.
