Four early symptoms of COVID-19 are named
Four mild symptoms can indicate that a person has contracted the new coronavirus infection. These are stomach problems, conjunctivitis, decreased memory and mental capacity, and fatigue. This is reported by TASS, referring to the British newspaper Daily Express.
Scientists draw their conclusions from 36 scientific studies. The first sign of COVID can manifest itself in nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and loss of appetite.
The American Academy of Ophthalmology emphasizes that the second symptom — conjunctivitis — occurs in about 1-3% of people who subsequently confirmed the coronavirus.
Cognitive impairment, which is expressed in a decrease in memory and mental capacity, may indicate COVID, scientists from Imperial College London noted.
Researchers at Trinity College, Ireland, have concluded that fatigue is common in half of the patients who test positive for the coronavirus. It can persist for up to ten weeks after recovery.
As the Bashinform News Agency informed, there have been 12,809 cases in Bashkiria since the beginning of the pandemic. 356 patients are currently being treated in hospitals. Of these, 32 are in serious condition, 11 are connected to lung ventilators. There are 1,107 coronavirus patients on outpatient treatment with a mild form of the disease. 84 people were discharged from hospitals per day. The number of deaths from COVID-19 has increased by one, and the total number of deaths is now 71.
