80 new farms will be created in Bashkiria in 2020
In Bashkiria, they plan to create 80 new farms and provide support to 77 peasant farms, Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov said at a meeting of the Presidium of the Government RB. The federal budget allocated 260.7 million rubles to implement the regional project "Creation of a support system for farmers and rural cooperation development " (part of the national project "Small and Medium Business and Support of Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative"), the republican budget — 5.3 million rubles. As of the end of October, cash execution amounted to 246 million rubles — 92.5%.
The main direction of the regional project is the allocation of grants for "Agricultural-startups". These are subsidies of no more than 5 million rubles, with co-financing by the recipient of 10% of the total amount, while the grantee undertakes to create at least two jobs and use the funds within a year and a half. 68 farmers have already taken part in the program. At the end of the year, grantees will employ 148 people. 1926 farms will be included in agricultural consumer cooperatives.
In 2019, 289 people applied for the Agrostartup competition, 115 were recognized as winners.
