Radiy Khabirov met with doctors of Republican Ambulance Station
On October 13, in Ufa, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov visited the Republican Ambulance Station and the Center for Disaster Medicine. He examined the working and rest conditions of the personnel, talked with doctors and paramedics. The head physician of the station, Ayaz Kamalov, said that the station is staffed, there is a sufficient fleet of equipment. During the coronavirus infection period, the workload on doctors increased significantly, special epidemiological crews began to work, going out on calls of patients with symptoms of the new disease. The station staff serves up to 1,700 calls per day from residents of Ufa and the Ufa region.
Ayaz Kamalov noted that with the development of the capital, large neighborhoods of the city need their own substations for the prompt arrival of an ambulance. In particular, such a need exists in the Zaton neighborhood.
The Head of Bashkortostan promised to consider the possibility of strengthening the facilities in this part. Radiy Khabirov thanked the specialists for the large volume of work performed and their professionalism, having noted that support for the healthcare would be continued in the region.
