Housing construction growth amounted to 7.3% in Bashkiria for 8 months: Radiy Khabirov
Today two forums started their work in Ufa: "Uralstroyindustriya" and "Transport of the Urals". The first of them has been held in the capital of Bashkortostan for almost 30 years. The construction industry is one of the most important in the economy, and it makes our life comfortable, said the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, at the opening of the forums. Despite the difficult period associated with the pandemic, the pace of construction in the republic has not been reduced, but on the contrary, showed an increase of more than 7.3% in 8 months of 2020.
"This year, we plan to build 2.4 million square meters of housing. We are continuing large and significant transport projects, including the Eastern exit from Ufa. The forums provide an opportunity to exchange our best practices. For example, a delegation from the Perm Territory is working here today, where bus service is well organized. We all need to meet and exchange successful practices", the Head of Bashkortostan stated.
Radiy Khabirov examined the exposition. In addition to manufacturers of building materials from the cities of Bashkortostan — Ufa, Sterlitamak, Salavat, companies from Moscow, the Republic of Mari El, and other regions came to participate in the exhibition. The leading developers of Bashkortostan presented their designs. The "Improvement. Comfortable Environment" exhibition will present manufacturers of small architectural forms, playgrounds, and sports grounds from Belgorod, Ufa, Beloretsk, and Blagoveshchensk. After talking with the representatives of the outdoor sports equipment company, Radiy Khabirov invited them to one of the "Investment Hour" sessions.
In the open area of the "Transport of the Urals" exhibition, flagship models of commercial vehicles of domestic and foreign brands, as well as specialized machinery, road construction equipment were exhibited.
The Head of Bashkortostan discussed further prospects for the company development and the release of new models with representatives of the Kumertau Helicopter Plant. At the Russian Railways stand, the conversation was about the completion of the reconstruction of the Ufa railway station and the southern railway bypass around the capital.
Recall that last year, within the framework of the transport forum, Russian Railways and the Government of Bashkortostan signed an agreement "On the construction of second continuous tracks on the Dema-Yuzhnaya — Iglino section," the so-called Southern bypass of Ufa. The cost of the project, which includes the construction of 19 kilometers of the second line of railway tracks, three bridges, including one across the Belaya River, and two overpasses, should be about 6 billion rubles.
Construction and installation work is planned to be carried out in 2022-2024.
The project should also give a powerful impetus to the development of a city train, providing a circular route around the Ufa Peninsula, as well as speeding up the movement of 10 commuter trains running on the Dema — Shaksha section and organizing a through traffic of eight electric trains from Ufa to Iglino station.
