Ufa will host the Interregional Cultural and Historical Festival "International Victory", dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. It is held within the framework of the grant of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan for the development of civil society in 2020.

At least 12 events will be held within the framework of the festival, the largest of which is the Cultural and Historical Marathon "International Victory".

“The marathon will highlight the decisive role of the multinational Red Army in the defeat of Nazism, the heroism of the multinational Soviet people, including the 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division, a unit created to participate in the Great Patriotic War on a national-regional basis. Within the framework of the marathon, presentations of public associations dedicated to the contribution of the peoples of the USSR to the Victory in the form of exhibitions and performances will take place," said Valentina Latypova, project manager, director of the non-profit organization for the development of social and cultural initiatives" Center for Intercultural Partnership ".

The festival will open at the Republican Museum of Military Glory on September 2. It will host exhibitions dedicated to the participation of the Bashkir people in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, prepared by public Bashkir national-cultural associations and historical and cultural centers of Bashkortostan. The program also includes greetings from guests of honor and performances by amateur groups.

At the end of the festival, the International Victory Cup will be handed over to the Assembly of Russians in Bashkortostan.
