Asymptomatic patients number with COVID-19 is growing in Bashkiria
In Bashkiria, there is an increase in asymptomatic and mild forms of the coronavirus infection course, Galina Permina, a representative of the Rospotrebnadzor Administration for the Republic of Bashkortostan informs.
"If we sum up the asymptomatic and mild form of the disease, it will be about 60 percent," Galina Permina said at a briefing session in the Ufa mayor's office. "Another positive thing in this process is that pensioners make up 6.1 percent of the total number of patients. Up to 60 percent of patients are working people aged 40 to 60 years."
According to the latest data, there are now 7127 people infected with the coronavirus in Bashkiria. Over the past day, their number increased by 34 people.
Ufa accounts for 2,763 cases of COVID-19, 15 of which were registered over the past day.
There were no new fatalities from the coronavirus in the region per day; the number of deaths is still 25 people.
Total, about 897.6 thousand cases of the coronavirus infection have been registered in Russia today. Of these, almost 703.2 thousand people recovered, more than 15.1 thousand died.
