According to the operational data of the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria, 7,093 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in the republic.
During the day, the number of patients with COVID-19 increased by 34 people, the Health Minister Maxim Zabelin announced at a briefing session in the regional government.
"The growth rate is 0.7; the spreading coefficient is 0.9. Over the past three weeks, the growth rate does not exceed 35-36 people. A kind of plateau has been established," said Maxim Zabelin. "We also have a downward trend in the incidence of community-acquired pneumonia. The incidence rate does not exceed 100 people per day. On average, 60 to 80 people a day is the maximum."
There are now 300 COVID-19 cases in hospitals in Bashkiria, most of which are moderately severe patients. 29 patients are in serious condition.
There are 1,384 coronavirus cases on outpatient treatment. 5 384 people were discharged as recovered. There were no fatalities over the past day, Zabelin emphasized.
As for community-acquired pneumonia, 61 such new cases have been registered in the region over the past 24 hours. 134 people were discharged with recovery.
"A very good indicator is a decrease in the number of cases of community-acquired pneumonia. The number of recovered exceeds the number of cases. This is a very good indicator of the situation," said the Head of the Region, Radiy Khabirov.
