CT scan revealed 70 cases of early oncological disease in Ufa
Bashkiria has purchased eight computer tomographs for COVID hospitals. Two have already been put into operation, said the Minister of Health of Bashkiria, Maxim Zabelin, at a briefing session in the regional government.
“By the end of September, the remaining six tomographs will start operating,” the minister assured the Head of Bashkiria.
Radiy Khabirov previously shared an interesting fact with the Deputy Minister of Health of Russia Oleg Gridnev during his visit. Thanks to CT, in Ufa alone, 70 new cases of early-stage cancer have been detected.
“That is, people thought that they had a coronavirus infection, they were sent for CT scan, that there were even queues, but it turned out that it was oncology,” said the head of the republic.
Note that Bashkiria spent 134 million rubles on updating the technical base and facilities of hospitals within the framework of the federal projects "Fight against cardiovascular diseases" and "Fight against cancer".
