Bashkiria received approval on creating "Alga" special economic zone
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the creation of a special economic zone "Alga" in the Ishimbaysky and Sterlitamaksky regions of Bashkiria. The Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov announced this in his social media.
By 2025, the republic should invest over six billion rubles in the construction of engineering and transport infrastructure, the decree of the Russian government states. The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia will conclude agreements with the government of Bashkortostan and the heads of the Ishimbaysky and Sterlitamaksky regions.
As the head of the region noted, this will contribute to the creation of new jobs.
"Our "Alga" special economic zone now officially created will be one of the major gas chemical clusters in Asia. This is hundreds of billions in our economy, thousands of jobs, a powerful new driver of our development!" the head of Bashkiria posted.
