Bashkiria has great plans for the further development of the petrochemical industry, said the Acting Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov.
“We are actively promoting the issue of creating other large oil and gas chemical cluster enterprises at Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat. Considering the significant volumes of natural gas transit through the republic, the largest project for more than 300 billion rubles is currently being worked out with Gazprom to create a complex for processing natural gas,” said Radiy Khabirov at the Russian Petrochemical Forum that opened in Ufa. “The operating priority development area in Kumertau and the special economic zone now being created in Ishimbay will also contribute to the implementation of this essential project.”
As the head of the region stressed, the fuel and energy complex remains a significant part of the domestic economy, the backbone of Bashkiria industry.
The whole production cycle of the oil industry is represented in the republic, and fundamental and sectoral science is concentrated here. Today, the territorial petrochemical cluster unites more than 200 enterprises and organizations.
“I will specially mark the pride of our republic — the Bashneft company, which today is successfully developing in the structure of Rosneft. Bashkortostan is the owner of a large block of shares in the company and more than anyone is interested in its stable operation. Since 2015, the republic has received almost 174 billion rubles in tax and non-tax revenues, including, 26 billion rubles of dividends,” stated Radiy Khabirov. “In Bashkortostan, in addition to Rosneft, there are other leaders of the domestic fuel and energy complex: Gazprom, Lukoil, Transneft. Fuel and energy companies are traditionally distinguished with their active investment policy. In the past two years alone, an acrylic plant in Salavat, the largest complex of treatment facilities at Ufaneftekhim, and an installation for the isopropylbenzol production at Ufaorgsintez were launched.”
As reported at the Russian Petrochemical Forum-2019, the Register of priority investment projects of Bashkiria includes now ten projects in the field of fuel and energy and chemistry totaling more than 130 billion rubles.
“For example, the OZNA company sold pumping and compressor equipment for 12 billion rubles and is ready, if there are orders, to double its output. The same thing is with “Uraltechnostroy” corporation, which provides the entire cycle of works related to the arrangement of oil and gas fields,” said Radiy Khabirov at the Petrochemical Forum in Ufa.
