On May 25, in the village of Nikolo-Beryozovka, Krasnokamsk District, the Republican folklore festival “Nikola Veshny” will be held. This holiday traditionally takes place since 1994 on the Days of Slavic Literature and Culture and coincides with the holiday of Nikola the Wonderworker Berezovsky (Nikola Vershny). The Days of Slavic Literature and Culture are celebrated annually in all Slavic countries on May 24. For the first time in Russia at the state level, this day was celebrated in 1863 in connection with the 1000th anniversary of the creation of the Slavic alphabet by Saints Cyril and Methodius, in the same year a decree was issued to celebrate the Day of Remembrance of Saints Cyril and Methodius on May 11 (24th in new style).

The holiday was revived in 1986, and in 1991 it received the status of a state one.
