Ildar Abdrazakov became winner of 38th Abbiati International Music Critics Award
Ildar Abdrazakov became the winner of the 38th Abbiati International Music Critics Award. The outstanding operatic singer of modernity, native of Bashkortostan, won an award in the nomination “vocal” together with Italian soprano Federica Lombardi for achievements in the field of academic music for 2018.

The Franco Abbiati Award has been granted by the Italian National Association of Musical Critics annually since 1980. The award is named after Italian music critic Franco Abbiati. By tradition, the award ceremony takes place in the Bergamo Opera House or other historic buildings of the city.
Recall that in the very near future the premiere of Verdi’s opera Attila will take place in Ufa, which will be Ildar Abdrazakov’s directorial debut. On April 27 and May 5, the singer himself will play the lead part.
