Installation of lawn limiters to combat illegal parking will be started in Ufa since April

In Bashkiria, an active struggle with parking on lawns will begin this spring. It was announced at a briefing session in the republican Government by the Acting Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov.
“The snow is melting down, and in our cities, large settlements complete administrative lawlessness prevails” the head of the region noted. “We will force drivers to respect the road rules and the interests of our residents.”
According to Radiy Khabirov, it is necessary to organize the work of administrative commissions in Bashkiria. Cities and large municipalities will have to report on the types of restrictive lawn limiters and the progress of their installation.
Works on the installation of fences and other protective means will begin in in the municipalities in April. The Acting Head of the republic said that large purchases would be spent through the republican treasury. Radiy Khabirov advised taking the remaining funds from local budgets and extra-budgetary sources.
The Bashinform News Agency earlier reported that fines for parking on lawns, children's and sports grounds would make from 1 to 2 thousand rubles for individuals, from 5 to 10 thousand — for officials, from 20 to 30 thousand — for legal entities. The punishment will be increased for repeated violation: from 3 to 4 thousand rubles for individuals, from 15 to 20 thousand for officials, from 35 to 50 thousand for legal entities.
