Karine Khabirova: I would like to wear clothes by Bashkiria designers

UFA, 31 January 2020. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.

Three-quarters of Ufa women buy clothes only when necessary, 22% — no more than once a month. 43% of customers pay attention to quality, 38% — to the price, and only 15% — want to follow fashion trends. The data was announced at the Light Industry forum held in Ufa today. According to the survey, more than half of the customers — 54% — are not satisfied with the quality of the goods, 26% think that the price is too high. More than 50% can afford to spend on clothes no more than 5000 thousand rubles a month.

Manufacturers also record a decrease in consumer demand for clothes. Ufa businessman Igor Chernenko said that in the middle price segment, the clothing market fell 8% last year. But the revenue of the MADYART brand, which he represented at the exhibition as part of the Light Industry forum, on the contrary, grew by 12%. The businessman associates this with the stable quality and loyalty of conservative customers. The online store of the brand is developing, now women in all cities of the country wear clothes from Ufa.

The forum discussed not only the development of local manufacturers in the light industry but also the development of local brands of designer clothes, accessories, and home goods, as well as how to combine national color and modern looks.

The importance of the development of local brands was also noted by the wife of the Head of Bashkiria, Karine Khabirova:

“I represent the republic in various regions of our country and abroad. I would like to wear clothes by local manufacturers and designers too. I would also like our guests to see that we keep up to date. It is also important that global brands hear that there are opportunities to come to our territory. These are additional jobs for our people”.

The Bashkir art crafts company Agidel also presented a rebranding project at the forum. It is going to produce clothes, accessories, and household goods under its brand.

Owners of Sterlitamak milk plant to invest 450 million rubles in its development

UFA, 31 January 2020. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.

The Chelyabinsk "Rossiyskoe Moloko" (RosMol) Group of Companies presented at the "Investment Hour" session in the Bashkiria Government a project to modernize one of its branches — the Sterlitamak Dairy Plant. It is planned to establish several new lines: for packaging ultra-pasteurized milk in pure-pak containers, milk in individual 200-gram packages and in PET bottles, packaging butter in briquettes from 100 g to 500 g. The condensation stage also requires updating in the milk drying shop.

Since 2015, Rosmol Group has allocated about 1 billion rubles for the modernization of the Sterlitamak branch, having completely updated nine production sites, the general director of the company, Vladimir Chapaykin, informed. He noted that over the past two years, only local raw materials have been purchased for production ("EkoNiva", "Urozhay", and milk of the "Krasnaya Bashkiria" for the Magnitogorsk Dairy Plant).

As a result, the owners plan to increase the plant's capacity: processing from 150-200 tons to 500 tons, production — up to 200 tons per day. The company's revenue may amount to 5 billion rubles a year.

The cost of the investment project is 450 million rubles, additional jobs — 56. Now 560 people work at the dairy. Investors are requesting standard tax benefits and reimbursement of 40% of the cost of acquiring equipment of the state support measures.

Commenting on the investors' proposal, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of Bashkortostan Ilshat Fazrakhmanov called their approach "an example of effective business management". Rosmol Group manages milk processing enterprises in Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk, Chebarkul, Novouralsk (Sverdlovsk Region), Moscow Region, Germany, and has two own agricultural enterprises. It produces products under the brands "Pervy Vkus" and "Darenka".

Reconstruction of Ufa greenhouse will require half billion rubles

UFA, 31 January 2020. /Bashinform News Agency, Sergey Nikolaev/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.

A project for the comprehensive reconstruction of the Ufa Limonarium (Greenhouse) is being developed. Its director Farida Sadykova shared this information with the Bashinform News Agency.

The estimated cost of construction and installation works will be about 0.5 billion rubles to be allocated from the budget.

The equipment of the Limonarium has long been outdated and needs a comprehensive reconstruction. One of its main tasks is to increase the height of greenhouses to 15 meters, sufficient for the growth of most cultivated varieties, including banana and papaya. New greenhouses will be frame, with translucent roof covering made from the heat-efficient tempered tinted glass. Ventilated windows with electric drives for natural ventilation will be provided in the roof and vertical enclosing structures.

According to Farida Sadykova, works on the development of the reconstruction project, for which 12 million rubles were allocated, are nearing completion. After its approval and examination, the stage of construction and installation works will begin. They can be carried out only in the warm season, as the old glazing and the frame of the greenhouses will be dismantled.

The Ufa Limonarium was opened in 1990. Since then, practically no significant renovations have been carried out in it to expand and modernize the greenhouse economy, where 20-22 tons of citrus fruits are annually grown on an area of 1 hectare, and ongoing scientific selection work is carried out. Seven varieties of lemons are cultivated here commercially, and about 12 varieties are grown for genetic research. Also, about 500 species of tropical and subtropical woody, shrubby and herbaceous plants grow in greenhouses and the open area.

Bashkiria received 54 billion rubles from federal budget last year

UFA, 31 January 2020. /Bashinform News Agency, Azat Gizzatullin/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.

In 2019, 54 billion rubles of federal funds were received by the budget of Bashkortostan. This is almost 2 billion rubles more than in 2018. Eighteen billion rubles of them were allocated as part of national projects. According to preliminary information, in terms of the total volume of gratuitous receipts from the federal budget, Bashkortostan is in 10th place in the Russian Federation and first place in the Volga Federal District. The Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov cited these data at a meeting with State Duma deputies.

According to him, all these funds are used to solve the recurrent problems existing in the republic. He noted that the support of our deputies from the Lower House of the Russian parliament would be important in this matter.

“The volume of national projects approved for today for 2020 is only 15.7 billion rubles. It is even slightly lower than in 2019. Applications for another 11 billion rubles are under consideration. It is exactly the reserve that we could realize with your productive work. In fact, we would then receive slightly more funds than it was last year. Therefore, I say again that we should work jointly. Moreover, quite a lot of applications were submitted. However, almost fifty of our applications for the total amount of 7.5 billion rubles were rejected,” said the Head of the Region.
