The Head of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers Dmitry Medvedev instructed to address the issue of pensions indexing for working pensioners until May 24.
This is stated in the document posted on the website of the government on May 2.
As reported by «Izvestiya», Dmitry Medvedev instructed to prepare a financial feasibility study for this measure "based on a comprehensive analysis of the situation with pension payments and with the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in general".
The instruction was drawn up following the results of the evaluation of the Government’s work for 2016. Earlier, the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Russia Maxim Topilin said that the indexation of pensions for working pensioners would cost the budget about 170-200 billion rubles.
