UFA, 28 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/.
Working hours are not reduced on April 28 and May 5, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Bashkortostan reports.
The duration of the May holidays will be exactly one week this year.
In accordance with the Labour Code of the Russian Federation, May 1 — the Holiday of Spring and Labour and May 9 — Victory Day — are non-working holidays.
For rational use of weekends and non-working holidays by employees, a day off from Saturday, January 7, was transferred to Monday May 8.
Thus, April 29, 30, May 1 and 6, 7, 8, 9 May 2017 are days off at a five-day working week. On the grounds of Article 120 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation, in case of an annual basic or annual additional paid vacation, non-working holidays on May 1 and 9 are not included in the calendar days of leave.
