Bashkir Opera House performance received "Golden Mask"

Yesterday in Moscow, winners and prize-winners of the National Theatre Award "Golden Mask" were announced. Performance of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theatre "Hercules" by G.F. Handel (director Georgy Isahakyan) received a special award of the jury of the musical theatre for high professional and vocal skills.
The solemn awarding ceremony of the "Golden Mask" was held in the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theatre. Special prizes of the jury were announced by its chairman — violinist, chief conductor of the St.Petersburg Symphony Orchestra Sergei Stadler. The award was received by representatives of the Bashkir Opera Theatre — the chief conductor, musical director and conductor of the performance Artem Makarov and the soloist of the theatre, the Iola part performer Dilyara Idrisova.
The Russian National Theatre Award "Golden Mask" was established in 1993 by the Union of Theatre Workers of the Russian Federation. The "Golden Mask" presents all kinds and genres of stage art — from opera and ballet to the puppet theatre. As reported by the MK.RU portal, this year the number of nominations reached a record number — 290.
