Ufa native Timofey Vladimirov won 2nd Moscow International Piano Competition

The native of Ufa, 16-year-old Timofey Vladimirov became the owner of the Grand Prix of the 2nd Vladimir Krainev Moscow International Piano Competition. The winners were awarded in the Svetlanov Hall of the Moscow International House of Music.
Timofey Vladimirov is a participant of the summer creative school of the Vladimir Spivakov Charitable Foundation in Bashkortostan, a pupil of the Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory. Earlier he studied in Ufa, at the Secondary Special Music College, in the class of teacher Tatyana Pogodina.
122 applications of musicians from Russia, Armenia, Ukraine, China, Korea, Japan, Australia, Canada, Israel and other countries were submitted for the Vladimir Krainev Piano Competition. 10 contestants reached the finals. All the finalists performed with solo performances, and the winners played with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, under the baton of the art director and chief conductor Vladimir Spivakov.
