"The Legend of the Saoshiant" multimedia project presentation will take place on large stage in Ufa

A multimedia project "The Legend of the Saoshiante" based on the Bashkir folk epic "Ural Batyr", created in the technique of synthesis of modern choreography (contemporary dance), post-avant-garde music, painting and video art will be presented in Ufa. The creative evening will be held at 19.00 at the State Concert Hall "Bashkortostan" on April 5.

Olga Daukaeva, the head of the workshop "Mezhdu Tantsem" is the choreographer-director. The visual composition is based on the paintings of Vasil Hannanov and performed by Alexander Sobolev. Soloists: Oksana Gabsalamova, Adelina Alchinova, Alina Mustaeva, Rustam Imamov, Valery Mustafin, Timur Sharipov, Ruslan Davlyatov. The ensemble of soloists of the National Symphony Orchestra of Bashkortostan also takes part in the project.

The work on the project lasted about four years. Some of its parts were presented at various concert venues in Ufa in 2013-2017. The first screening of the project on the Russian stage took place at the All-Russia Youth Educational Forum "Tavrida" in Crimea in July 2016. As a result, it was awarded a grant of the federal forum, intended for the subsequent stage production of the play.

In December 2016, the prologue of the "Legend of the Saoshiant" was presented at one of the most sought-after theatre venues in St. Petersburg — the scene of the V.F. Komissarzhevskaya Academic Drama Theatre. In the summer of 2017, a presentation of the project at one of the most prestigious Russian venues of contemporary art is planned — Yeltsin Centre (Yekaterinburg).
