Rustem Khamitov has met with Primorye Territory Governor Vladimir Miklushevsky

On January 20, a working meeting of the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the Governor of the PrimoryeTerritory Vladimir Miklushevsky was held at the House of the Republic. The sides discussed issues of trade and economic cooperation development, interaction in the field of medicine and sports.
Speaking about the prospects for nuclear medicine centre creation in Primorye, Rustem Khamitov noted that its development had started in Ufa four years ago.
“Our Positron Emission Tomography Centre (PET Centre) has one PET scanner that allows examining patients including from the neighbouring regions,” he said. “Options for its expansion and new construction are currently discussed with Rosnano”.
Vladimir Miklushevsky was interested in Ufa PET Centre practices, noting that in the Primorye Territory similar institution would be established at Far Eastern Federal University. It is assumed that up to six thousand people a year can be examined in such centre.
Another topic of discussion was development of ice hockey. Vladimir Miklushevsky came to Ufa to submit a Vladivostok’s bid for the right to host the Week of Hockey Stars 2018 and explore the experience of large-scale sporting event, which takes place on the "Ufa-Arena".
This year, the major hockey show of the season that for the first time in the history united at once three leagues – KHL, MHL , WHL, is held in Ufa from January 15 to 22. The winner, who will get the right to host the Week of Hockey Stars, will be known in March 2017.
