UFA, 6 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/.
Last November was recognized as the coldest in Russia in 16 years. In addition, according to the climate monitoring conducted by the Hydrometeorological Centre of Russia, the lowest possible temperature in November has not been observed for the whole history of meteorological observations in Primorye, i.e. since 1891. In the Urals, such cold last month of the autumn was registered 30 years ago in 1987. Also, the minimum temperature records were registered in the Volga region, the North Caucasus, Siberia, Yakutia and Sakhalin.
The cold November turned the entire autumn period to the negative anomalies. This December will show whether the year of 2016 will be the warmest in history, as it was assumed by many researchers.
