United Russia in Bashkortostan celebrates its 15th anniversary

In Ufa, the regional branch of "United Russia" will celebrate its 15th anniversary in the House of the State Assembly RB on December 2. The Secretary of the regional branch of the party, Konstantin Tolkachev will deliver a speech as part of the festive meeting. United Russia members will discuss issues of participation of deputies in the activities of the party and the implementation of party projects in Bashkortostan.
The All-Russian political party "United Russia" was established on December 1, 2001 at the founding congress of socio-political associations "Unity" (led by Sergei Shoigu), "Fatherland" ( Yuri Luzhkov) and "All Russia" (Mintimer Shaimiev) as the All-Russian political party "Unity and Fatherland United Russia". The electoral list in the elections to the Duma in 2007 was headed at that time by the Russian President Vladimir Putin not being a member of the party and subsequently refused the deputy seat. As a result of the elections, United Russia won the most number of seats in the State Duma.
The United Russia includes about 89 thousand people in Bashkortostan. 36 thousand more are supporters of the party. There are 69 local branches and 3,700 primary party branches in the republic.
