UFA, 7 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/.
Ufa will host the Russian-Italian festival of feature, documentary and short films – "Russian-Italian Film Festival" (RIFF). Five films will be shown in the "Rodina" cinema from November 9 to 13. RIFF is focused on strengthening cultural exchange between Russia and Italy.
The festival involves both the films by Italian directors provided by various regional festivals of Italy and the films by Russian filmmakers about Italy. The Ufa townspeople will see two comedies by directors Ficarra and Picone: on November 9, "Andiamo a Quel Paese" (Let’s Go to Hell), November 12 — "It May Be Love But It Doesn't Show". On November 10 — the film "New Italians" will be shown, on November 11 — the comedy-romance "That Summer", on November 13 — "Snow".
"The uniqueness of RIFF is that it will feature the best Italian documentary and short films," organizers say. All festival films are shown in their original language with Russian subtitles.
