Famous Russian and foreign musicians’ concerts will be held as part of Z.Ismagilov Contest in Ufa

Concerts of chairmen and members of the jury consisting of famous Russian and foreign musicians will be held as part of the 3rd Zagir Ismagilov’s International Musical Contest at the Chaliapin Concert Hall in Ufa.

On November 10, the Ufa residents are invited to a concert of Professor of the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music, the honoured worker of culture of Kyrgyzstan Vera Nosina — the chairman of the contest jury in the "piano" nomination.  On November 12, a joint concert of the Professor of the Kazakh National University of Arts and Kurmangazy Conservatory, the honoured artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the vocalists jury Shahimardan Abilov and the violinist, Professor of Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music, the honoured artist of Russia, the chairman of the jury in the string instruments category Alexey Koshvants. The concerts start at 19:00 and admission is free.

In addition, a concert of Kopelman Quartet is scheduled at the Chaliapin Concert Hall on November 9. It includes Mikhail Kopelman (violin), Boris Kushnir (violin), Igor Sulyga (alto) and Mikhail Milman (violoncello).

The 3rd Zagir Ismagilov’s International Musical Contest will take place at Ufa State Institute of Arts from November 7 to 16. The contest is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the prominent Bashkir composer.
