Silver Akbuzat Festival Grand Prix was won by film from Bangladesh

The 3rd International Festival of National and Ethnic Films "Silver Akbuzat" with participation of 24 films from different countries and regions of Russia finished in Ufa.
Winners of the festival were announced at the closing ceremony at Bashkortostan Concert Hall. All winners were presented exclusive prizes symbolizing Bashkir brands.
The main prize — the Grand Prix was won by the feature film "History of Jalal" of Abu Shahed Emona from Bangladesh.
The prize for the hero of the best documentary film and the prize of the Minister of Culture of Bashkortostan were awarded to the "Song of Soul" film by the Ufa director Radhik Kilmamatov.
The "PE Teacher, Gold and River" film (Kyrgyzstan) won the prize as the Best Documentary Production.
The Best Cinematography Prize was awarded to the film "24 Snows" by Michael Barynin from Sakha-Yakutia. The same film won the Audience Choice Award. Another Audience Choice Award was received by the Saddam Wahidi from Afghanistan for his "Mother Mary" film.
In the short fiction films the awards were distributed as follows. The Prize for Best Screenplay went to the film by Damir Yusupov. The Best Director award was given to the film "Slammed the Door and Left" by Ildar Yuzeev (Tatarstan), Best Cinematography to the film "Mother Mary".
The closing ceremony was held by the popular Russian actor Artyom Mikhalkov and the actress of the National Youth Theatre Gulshat Gaisina. Artem Mikhalkov welcomed the audience in the Bashkir language.
