Salavat Yulaev confidently beat Eastern leader in away match

HC Salavat Yulaev (Ufa) won a second consecutive away victory in the ninth championship of the Kontinental Hockey League. In Omsk the Ufa team beat the leader of Eastern Conference Avangard — 5:2.
Omsk opened the score early in the first period due to efforts of Ivan Lekomtsev. However, before the break, the guests were able to come forward — Teemu Hartikainen and Mikhail Vorobyov — 1: 2. In the second period guests led 4: 2 after perfect shots of the same Hartikainen and Maxim Goncharov.
In the third period of the match Avangard was very close to reducing the score during a powerplay, but instead received a counterattack by Linus Umark who masterfully converted the chances and set the final score of the game at 5: 2.
On October 1, the Ufa club will play with HC Sibir in Novosibirsk.
