Winners of I International Fyodor Chaliapin Vocal Competition were named in Ufa

 

UFA, 26 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. In Ufa winners of the I International Feodor Chaliapin Vocal Competition were announced. According to the press service of the theatre, the title of I degree laureates was awarded to three singers. These are Arthur Kaipkulov (Russia, Ufa), Yaroslav Petryanik (Russia, Saint-Petersburg), Regina Rustamova (Azerbaijan, Baku).

The II Prize went to Dinar Dzhusoev (Russia, Kazan), Aidos Zhabagin (Kazakhstan, Almaty), Vera Pozolotina (Russia, Yekaterinburg). The III Prize was awarded to Oleg Budaratsky (Russia, Yekaterinburg), Victor Mendelev (Belarus, Minsk).

Diploma winners included Hamid Abdulov (Azerbaijan, Baku), Aigul Ahmetshina (Russia, Ufa), Sargis Bazhbeuk-Melikyan (Armenia, Yerevan), Kirill Belov (Russia, Ufa), Arthur Gabdiev (Kazakhstan, Almaty), Alena Guz (Ukraine, Kharkov), Andrei Danilov (Russia, Irkutsk), Anastasia Donets (Russia, Saint-Petersburg), Maria Zaikina (Russia, Saint-Petersburg), Gleb Kim (Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek). Aigul Ahmetshina won a special prize "Nadezhda" and the Audience Choice Award (Russia, Ufa).

The Mustai Karim Charity Foundation awarded 10 special prizes. A special prize for the best performance of folk songs was received by Ruan Jiang (China, Guilin), James Dalton Curran (United States, Hamilton), Julia Lozhevskaya (Russia, Saint-Petersburg), Said Gobechia (Abkhazia, Pitsunda). Damir Taipov (Russia, Ufa) won a special prize for the best performance of the Bashkir folk song. A special prize for the best performance of Russian romance went to Anastasia Shcheglova (Moscow, Russia), Arthur Gabdiev (Almaty, Kazakhstan) and Oleg Budaratsky (Russia, Yekaterinburg). A special prize for the best performance of foreign romance was awarded to Alena Guz (Ukraine, Kharkov) and Dinar Dzhusoev (Russia, Kazan).

Vera Pozolotina (Russia, Yekaterinburg) was awarded a special prize of the Elena Obraztsova International Music Academy. The Director Irkin Gabitov awarded his special prize to Sargis Bazhbeuk Melikyan (Armenia, Yerevan) for performance of a romance by M. Mussorgsky.
