UFA, 5 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alexander Smirnov/. On September 4, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov during his working trip to the city of Oktyabrsky examined a ski roller track at the biathlon sports centre "Spartak".
The ski-roller track with length of 3 km and width of 4 m was built in 2012. A sports ground of 7,7 thousand sq m was equipped next to it. The project cost amounted to 33.4 million rubles.
In August 2015 the second stage of the construction cost of 75 million rubles began. It includes the construction of an administrative building of 501 sq m area and a shooting gallery, installation of the stands for 320 seats, stadium fence, video screen and a video surveillance system. Fitness equipment, gym and office equipment were purchased.
Today 570 children go to this centre, but entering the new facility will increase the range of children to 240.
For residents of the town there are all conditions for practicing Nordic walking, roller-skating and bikes and new sports fields will provide an opportunity to play football, volleyball and gymnastics.
