Buckwheat most notably rose in price in Bashkortostan from July 18 to 27


UFA, 27 July 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olesya Seregina/. During the period from 18 to 27 July in Bashkortostan buckwheat most notably rose in price. The average price for cereals was 80.75 rubles per kilogram. This information is contained in the materials of the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency.

Among the monitored socially important food products the cost of apples, eggs, chicken and rice increased by 0.6 percent. Chilled chickens (0.5 percent), sugar and heat-treated milk (0.4), wheat flour, tea (0.2), salt and wheat (0.1) also rose in price.

The largest price decrease showed potatoes (3.1 percent), carrots (2.7), frozen fish (1.5), pasta (1.1), fresh cabbage (1.0). Lamb, sunflower oil, pasteurized milk, pork, beef, onion, butter fell in price in the range of 0.1 — 0.9 percent.

Prices for wheat and rye bread and bakery products remained unchanged.
