On July 13 in Ufa, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov chaired a meeting of the republican Government.
One of the issues on the agenda was a draft of the "Economic and Investment Development of the Republic of Bashkortostan" state program for 2017-2022.
The Head of the Republic noted the need to adjust the program taking into account the performance indicators defined for the Ministry of Economic Development RB, and the indicators used to form the federal National Rating.
The Minister of Economic Development of the republic Sergey Novikov introduced amendments to the state program.
“Three main goals of the state program are identified — to ensure sustainable economic development, investment potential development and increase in volume of foreign trade and inter-regional trade turnover,” said Sergey Novikov.
In addition, it is assumed to include in the government program the following indicators: "Population", "An average number of addresses of business entities to the Russian public authorities (local authorities) for state (municipal) services associated with the scope of business activity".
During the discussion, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov asked to specify how the planned target to increase the republican products selling outside the region would be reached.
The Prime Minister of the Government RB Rustem Mardanov marked that currently the main instrument for the promotion of the republican production in other regions was agreements on trade and economic cooperation with the Russian Federation entities. Although, the analysis also showed an extremely low efficiency of such agreements for the export development in Bashkortostan.
Rustem Khamitov instructed to make additional offers to increase the Bashkortostan export potential.
