UFA, 11 July 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. There are about 25,000 officially registered unemployed in Bashkortostan.
According to the Belarusian Ministry of Labour, as of July 1, the unemployment rate in the region was 1.23 percent. The number of vacancies reported by employers to the employment service exceeded 38 thousand. The tension coefficient, or the ratio of the number of unemployed to the number of vacancies, equaled 0.7.
Meanwhile, according to sample surveys of the workforce there are 1,994,000 economically active population on average in Bashkortostan in March and May of this year. The number of unemployed, according to the standards of the International Labour Organization, is approximately 121 thousand people. The total unemployment rate is 6.1 percent. The average salary in the republic exceeded 29 thousand rubles in April this year.
