President of Russian Cities Union marked Ufa successful experience in municipal practices

On June 17, in Ufa, at the opening ceremony of the 4th Best Municipal Practices Forum the President of the Russian Cities Union, the chairman of the Chelyabinsk City Duma Stanislav Mosharov noted the successful experience of municipal practices implementation in the capital of Bashkortostan.

"Today, this unique venue in Ufa Congress Hall gathered more than 400 people. They are representatives of 68 cities, 45 municipal districts and 48 entitiesof the Russian Federation. For the first time the Best Municipal Practices Forum acquired an international status. Our colleagues from the CIS countries, China, South Korea, and the United Kingdom came here to share their experience,” said Stanislav Mosharov.  “The main goal of our forum this year will be testing mechanisms of the best municipal practices implementation. The forum will include 12 sections, including "Cultural Identity of Russian Cities", "Successful Advanced Technologies of Municipal Strategies Implementation", "Housing and Utilities as a New Quality of Life". One section will be dedicated to international cooperation. Three sections will work in the new format — workshops and master classes. Seven tours will also be organized over Ufa".

The head of the Russian Cities Union said that the capital of the republic had experience in implementing more than 20 successful municipal practices in its territory, including practices awarded with federal prizes.

The President of the Russian Cities Union thanked the hosts "for the hospitality and for nice, really summer weather."
