The Centre for Contemporary Art "Oblaka" invites Ufa residents to watch the films of the Shnit International Shortfilmfestival on June 24. The program includes a selection of seven the most unusual films of the international contest in 2015, the press-secretary of the centre Daria Malina informs.
All short stories are united by one idea — a versatility and absolute value of human life. These are the films "Taken Away Coffee" (Spain), "Reality +" (France), "Renegade Time" (Netherlands — France — Belgium), "Dissonance" (Germany), "Eggplant" (USA), "Death in Chocolate" (Canada) and "Love is Blind" (UK). The screening is at 19.00 and 21.00. Please call +7 (347) 299 77 44 for additional information and booking tickets.
The Shnit International Shortfilmfestival was established in 2003 in the Swiss capital Berne as a local initiative, and emerged into a project of world significance aimed at promoting and supporting short films. The festival jury considered more than 10,000 applications of directors from 141 countries around the world. It brings together more than 30,000 representatives of cinema. Residents of several cities on five continents assess the result of large-scale work: Bern (Switzerland), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Hong Kong (China), Cape Town (South Africa), Cairo (Egypt), Moscow (Russia).
