UFA, 10 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency,Leila Aralbaeva/. The main prize of the 27th "Kinotavr" Film Festival was received by the director and scriptwriter from Ufa Vadim Valiullin. His short film "Loan" telling about a terminally ill girl, who pays a mortgage loan, was recognized the best, the website kino-teatr.ru informs.
The "Kinotavr" Russian film festival is held in Sochi from 6 to 13 June. The results of the short films competition are announced so far. For three days the audience and the jury have watched 26 films of a total duration of 500 minutes. The short film jury consists of the producer Elena Glickman, director Zhora Kryzhovnikov, actress Darya Ekamasova and film critic Larissa Malyukova. The President of "Kinotavr" Alexander Rodnyansky, program director Sitora Aliyeva and program curator Irina Lyubarskaya in the traditional commencement address to participants urged filmmakers to work harder and not be afraid to break formats, to experiment and to disregard other people's assessments and competition.
