More than 14 thousand children were born in Bashkortostan since the beginning of 2016

In Bashkortostan since the beginning of 2016 more than 14 thousand children were born. Last year more than 59 thousand children were born, the press service of the Ministry of Health RB reports.
On the International Children's Day statisticians analyzed data on birth rate and education system development in the republic.
In the region today there are 1333 pre-school educational institutions, 210 branches of educational institutions and 453 groups of preschool education in schools.
At the beginning of 2016 233.8 thousand children went to kindergartens, and for the last year their number increased by 10.2 thousand.
In the 2015-2016 academic year, 1369 day schools and 709 branches of schools operated in the republic. 441.8 thousand children study at them.
The teaching at schools is carried out in the Russian, Bashkir, Tatar, Mari, Chuvash, Udmurt languages. In addition, the Mordovian, German, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Latvian languages are studied as a subject. Children learn Polish, Armenian and Hebrew at Sunday schools.
76.2 thousand children are involved in sports clubs and go to youth sports schools. Music and art schools are visited by 39.7 thousand children.
Much attention is paid to health improvement and rehabilitation of school children during the summer vacations in Bashkortostan. Every year about three thousand summer camps are open, where every second pupil can have a rest, the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reports.
