Bashkortostan experience in youth employment was presented in Sweden

The experience of Bashkortostan in young people employment was presented in Sweden. The Minister of Labour and Social Protection RB Lenara Ivanova took part in a subregional conference on the youth employment promotion. The conference was held in Sweden and Norway from May 17 to 24.
The event was attended by representatives of eight countries of the sub-regional office of the International Labour Organization (ILO). Among them there were Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The experts were ILO representatives from Italy, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
The International Labour Organization formed in 1919 includes total 185 countries.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Labour of Bashkortostan, the main purpose of the trip to Sweden was a presentation of the programs on youth employment support implemented in the republic, in particular, on organization of internship for graduates of universities and colleges.
The Ministry of Labour RB submitted to the ILO a detailed report on the work carried out in the region to promote youth employment.
"In general, our experience is recognized as successful. Not surprisingly, as we were the first among the regions of the country to adopt the "Decent Work" trilateral program. As marked by colleagues from other countries, in addition to the public services provision, the Ministry together with the employment centres is actively engaged in additional work, namely, in the blue-collar jobs promotion, vocational guidance of youth, development of youth entrepreneurship ", the Minister of Labour and Social Protection RB Lenara Ivanova informed.
