UFA, 16 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/.
In Bashkortostan, four candidates were excluded from the list of candidates from the United Russia party to the State Duma. These are Vadim Davletshin, Sergei Maloyaroslavtsev, Eduard Ostapchuk and Ruslan Saetgaliev. The reason for their exclusion was a refusal to take part in the debates, the regional branch of the party explains. The decision was made today, on May 16 at a meeting of the regional organizing committee for the primaries.
Self-nomination of candidates and participation in the debates are mandatory terms for participation in the preliminary voting.
Yesterday the debates ended in the region. They were held at 56 sites throughout the republic. For almost two months 103 candidates out of 107 registered took part in them. The preliminary voting procedure will be held at 678 polling stations on May 22.
