Bashkortostan is among regions-nominees of the National Technology Initiative Contest

The Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and the Russian Venture Company summed up the results of the regional contest of the National Technology Initiative (NTI). Of the 54 regions that have applied for the contest, 16 were declared winners.
10 pilot entities will take part in the development of the regional model of the National Technology Initiative: the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Tatarstan, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Samara, Tomsk, Ulyanovsk and Chelyabinsk regions. Thus four of them — Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan and Tomsk region — are defined as "network centres", where it is planned to carry out major activities on the development of the regional model of the National Technology Initiative.
In addition, six regions more are defined, which have demonstrated a high degree of interest in this work. They were awarded the status of "regions-nominees". The six nominees include Bashkortostan, Krasnodar Territory, Udmurtia, Tula and Kaluga Regions, Khabarovsk Territory.
