UFA, 23 March 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/.
In Bashkortostan, provision of large families with land plots is 57.5 percent at the beginning of 2016. Total more than 43 thousand citizens raising three or more minor children live in the republic. These data were given by the Minister of Land and Property Relations RB Eugene Guriev at the coordination meeting of the Chief Federal Inspector in the Republic with the heads of territorial bodies of the federal executive bodies.
"In cities the provision percentage is quite low (less than 35), as not much land is available near major cities." said Eugene Guriev.
According to the Minister, a high percentage of land provision is observed in rural areas. He also said that from the next year a concept of "need criterion" may appear in Bashkortostan. In the future this category of citizens will have to prove their need to get a land plot free of charge, the press service of the Chief Federal Inspector in the Republic informs.
The issue of land allocation is under special control of the Head of State. Support of large families is indicated in the May decree "On measures to implement the population policy of the Russian Federation."
