WorldSkills Russia Centre will be established in Bashkiria

A WorldSkills Russia Centre ("Internationally recognized skills") will be established in Bashkortostan. The Decree of the Government determines development stages of this movement in the region.
The Ministry of Education RB will coordinate this activity. The regional WorldSkills Russia Centre will be represented by the Institute of Education Development of the Republic of Bashkortostan, which is delegated the powers of joining of the Union "Agency of professional communities and regular labour force development "WorldSkills Russia" as an associate member.
According to the press service of the Government RB, in May 2012, Russia formally joined the WorldSkills International.
Since 2013, professional educational organizations of Bashkortostan are actively involved in national and international stages of the WorldSkills championships. They become its annual prize-winners and winners. As previously reported, now the results of the regional WorldSkills Russia championship are summed up. According to its results a team will be formed to participate in the district qualifying championship in Saransk (Republic of Mordovia) in April 2016.
The WorldSkills International — is an international non-profit movement, which aims to increase the prestige of blue-collar occupations and vocational development.
