The Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered to withdraw the main troops of the Russian Federation from Syria since March 15. The Head of the State announced this at a meeting with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
"I consider that the tasks set for the Ministry of Defense have been accomplished as a whole. Therefore, I am ordering to begin the withdrawal of the main part of our military troops from the Syrian Arab Republic from tomorrow", TASS quotes the President of the Russian Federation.
The Head of the State stressed that during the operation Russia managed to create even a small but effective military grouping of diverse forces. "Effective work of our military has created conditions for the peace process beginning", said the President.
