Information security in financial sphere is discussed in Bashkortostan

A plenary session of the 7th Ural Forum "Information Security of Banks" is taking place today, February 16, at the business centre "Jubilee" in Abzelilovo region of Bashkortostan. The Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov made a welcome address to the forum participants delivered by the Prime Minister of the Government RB Rustem Mardanov.

The agenda includes the issues of combating cybercrime and cyber risks in the financial sector, confidentiality in the credit and financial sector, information security of innovative banking technologies and non-credit financial institutions.

The Ural Forum has established itself as a major financial information security event of the year in Russia. More than 350 representatives of financial institutions, supervisory and regulatory bodies, experts of internal oversight services, information security auditors, domestic and foreign companies that provide products and services for information security in the financial sector, have gathered for this event. The Forum is organized by the Association of Russian Banks with the support of the Bank of Russia.

As part of them Forum – from February 15 to 20 — the heads of banks security services directly communicate with representatives of the sectoral regulators — the Bank of Russia, the Russian FSB, FSTEC of Russia (Federal Service for Technology and Export Control), the Russian Interior Ministry and Roskomnadzor, which in detail inform market participants about the requirements, the results of the control and surveillance activities, legislative innovations.
